A few things I wanted to point out.
- The Obama Administration is engaged in fishy politics. Some are asking if it is illegal?
- Why are people rejecting the health care proposals? One answer.
- Governor Mark Sanford is a bigger loser than we thought he was.
- When does consumer safety go too far? When it makes old children's books illegal.

I just have comment related to the two posts on the health care agenda. Now, I am not really a big fan of the way everyone is going about getting one together and would not claim to be a supporter of this bill, but ... there is a seriously large amount of misinformation being provided against the plan. With every day there is a new "protest" against the health care plan saying that they do not agree to certain parts of it for reasons x,y, and z, almost 100% of the time the x, y, and z claim they hate so much is in fact not true and not part of the plan (e.g., free meds for illegal aliens and a health czar making decisions for you about what treatment you get). Might help if people actually read these things (myself, congress, and everyone else included) before passing judgment. Or, at least do some fact checking on specific claims before getting upset.

I agree that there is a fair amount of bad information fueling concerns about the health care plan. I generally favor less shouting at town halls as well, but that tactic is hardly new to the left.
The issue with the health care plan that I am most concerned about is the cost and the method of payment. The costs are almost certainly understated and the projected funding sources likely inadequate if history is a guide.
