I found this news interesting:
Congressional Republicans decided Tuesday to ditch the former GOP vice presidential nominee in favor of the former House speaker for the critical House-Senate fundraising dinner in June 8 in Washington. It's the marquee Republican event to raise money for GOP House and Senate candidates.Palin got trashed after the election last year, and most of it seemed pretty unfair at the time, but I am one Republican that does not want her to seek the nomination in 2012. I admire how she has arrived to be governor of Alaska, but it is no insult to surmise, as I have, that the Presidency does not seem a good fit. I believe her mishandling of the fundraising dinner invite will be a blessing in the end for the party.
