So with Alabama's resounding victory tonight another college football season comes to a close. My teams were disappointing, the hometown team was disappointing, the championship rematch was disappointing to anyone not from Alabamy.
In just under 8 full months it will all begin again. And I'll be counting the days.

It was positively gruesome watching that finale. Often, the hype before a BCS Title Game or a Super Bowl is filled with unachievable expectations but this game was ugly from the opening kickoff. Indeed, it likely provided no satisfaction for anyone other than die-hard Tide fans. Spring football will begin shortly at some schools and, indeed, we'll tee it up once more!
